Canada’s Net Zero Policies

Contributed by Robert Lyman © 2025. Robert Lyman’s bio can be read here.

Robert Lyman created a slide presentation about Canada’s net-zero climate policy. Michelle Stirling produced the video below of the slide presentation reading Lyman’s notes. Lyman’s concern is that the issues surrounding Canadian Climate policy are rarely presented to the public in terms that help people understand what the policy means for their lives. He presents nine questions and the corresponding answers.

Lyman challenges the logic behind the claims that Canadians need to sacrifice as part of a global effort, showing that no matter how extreme our sacrifice, the outcome would be meaningless, as developing nations outstrip our emissions and grow their own every year by leaps and bounds.
