Jean-Yves Grandidier, CEO of the company Valorem, specializing in renewable energies, was a candidate for the European elections on the list of Yannick Jadot. Are these links between ecologists and renewable energy manufacturers frequent?

Without environmentalism, as a political ideology, the renewable-intermittent industry does not exist. The renewable-intermittent industry is a mechanism for capturing taxpayers’ money through the coercive threat of the state. Were it not for the administrative constraint, no one would agree to pay the renewable-intermittent at its real price, which by necessity includes other sources of energy, being the intermittent nature of solar and wind power. The truth of the subject resides entirely in the insurmountable intermittence of the wind and the sun. One thousand billion have been invested in Europe since 2001 in renewable-intermittent, which still and always produces only 3% of real consumption (primary energy). Which is ridiculous. The energy transition, towards 100% renewable-intermittent, is a lie. It won’t happen, it will never happen, it won’t happen anywhere. We need to focus on results. Germany, at the forefront on these subjects, massively pollutes the European sky by burning its coal (lignite) and emits four times more CO2 than France. The only concrete, real result of the Energiewende – German energy transition – will have been the destruction of German civilian nuclear power. This was, moreover, the real objective of German environmentalists since the 1970s. In doing so, Europe has surrendered and will surrender to sordid regimes such as Russia, Qatar and China.

To what extent should we see a form of collusion or conflict of interest in these links?

It is no longer a question of conflicts of interest, because they are assumed, but of consubstantiality. The renewable-intermittent industry is a state industry that does not say its name. More exactly, an industry whose profits are private, but whose customers, captive, exist only by the constraint of the State. Let the state threat cease, and the renewable-intermittent industry immediately ceases to exist.

Should the anti-nuclear position of ecologists be viewed in the light of these relationships with the renewable energy community? And the goals set by ecologists in the broader energy field?

Hatred of nuclear and interests of renewable-intermittent are part of a circular causality. At the origin was the environmentalist hatred of nuclear, which led environmentalists to endorse the renewable-intermittent, which in turn militates in favor of the environmentalist ideology, which conditions the very existence of the renewable-intermittent, etc. The causality is indeed circular and the ecological-industrial complex has now reached cyclopean proportions, which directly threaten the foundations of European society. The objectives set by ecologists in energy matters are generally set at the level of the European Union, which has the advantage (for them) of working far from the democratic sanction of voters. These increasingly extreme objectives are purely political — one thinks of the objectives of the Five-Year Plan dear to the Soviet communists — and take no account of economic, geopolitical or human realities. Environmentalists will fail, in a great carnage of industry and European prosperity.
